The Rock & Roll Corridor of Fame Basis introduced its 2026 inductees on April 14, spotlighting a standout group of artists whose influence has left an enduring mark on music and tradition.

In accordance with the official press launch, The announcement was  revealed stay on ABC and Disney+ by Ryan Seacrest and 2022 Inductee Lionel Richie throughout the Rock & Roll Corridor of Fame themed episode of American Idol.  The announcement kicks off the countdown to rejoice music’s highest honor. 

The Inductee classes embody: Performers, Early Affect, Musical Excellence, and Ahmet Ertegun Awards.  

Performers Award: Artists who’ve created music whose originality, influence, and affect has modified the course of rock & roll:

Phil Collins: Inducted as a solo artist, marking his second induction (beforehand with Genesis in 2010).
Billy Idol: Acknowledged for his solo profession and affect on the MTV period.
Iron Maiden: The heavy steel band joins on their third nomination.
Pleasure Division/New Order: Collectively inducted, acknowledging each eras of the band.
Oasis: Inducted following their 2025 reunion tour.
Sade: Acknowledged for his or her distinctive mix of soul, jazz, and R&B.
Wu-Tang Clan: Pioneering hip-hop group inducted on their first nomination.
Luther Vandross: Soul icon inducted on his first

Early Affect Award: Artists whose music and efficiency type have straight influenced, impressed, and developed rock & roll and music impacting tradition:

Musical Excellence Award: Given to artists, musicians, songwriters, and producers whose originality and affect have had a dramatic influence on music:

Linda Creed
Arif Mardin

Ahmet Ertegun Award: Non-performing trade professionals who’ve had a significant affect on the artistic growth and development of rock & roll and music that has impacted tradition: 

The 2026 Rock & Roll Corridor of Fame Induction will tape Saturday, November 14th on the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California.  The 2026 ceremony will then debut in December on ABC and Disney+.
